Senior Business Analyst

About The Role:

Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst who thrives in complex project environments, enjoys shaping future-state business processes, and loves bringing people along the change journey? We are seeking a high-calibre BA to play a pivotal role in two major transformation initiatives:

• TechOne CiA Migration - configuration and implementation of new CiA modules, going live March 2026
• Records & Workflow Transformation - reimagining how 700+ staff use records and workflows, leveraging new technologies including AI-enabled tools, going live December 2026

About You: 

You’re a highly capable Senior BA who brings a blend of analytical strength, people skills and practical delivery experience. You enjoy working hands-on, solving complex problems, and helping teams transition to new technology.

We’re looking for someone with:

Business Analysis & Project Delivery Skills

• Proven ability to capture, analyse and redesign business processes (as-is / to-be) using BA tools and frameworks
• Strong requirements gathering, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience delivering end-to-end technology projects with significant business process change
• Ability to lead and support testing, training, and change management activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
  

Experience

• 5+ years in business analysis, ideally in complex organisations or government environments (local/state/federal experience preferred)
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams with vendors and internal stakeholders
• Exposure to digital transformation, information management or enterprise system implementations
• Knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches
  
  

Technical Understanding

Experience in any of the following is desirable (but not essential):

• TechOne (Ci or CiA)
• Records and information management
• Data migration and integration environments
  
  

More important than specific systems experience is your ability to quickly understand new technologies and translate business needs into practical solutions.

The Detail:

The position is offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis up to 18 December 2026 and is classified at Level 7, with a starting salary of 123,152.65 per annum + Super + Annual Leave Loading.
